Our Deacons

In keeping with the two servant-leadership positions set forth in I Timothy 3, our leadership team is comprised of all actively serving pastors, and deacons, who while clothing each of themselves in humility and working together for the cause of Christ and for the good of the body, and holding each other mutually accountable, shall have the overall responsibility to serve, guide, lead, nurture, equip, encourage, care for, and protect the flock of God. 

The position of a pastor is also referred to in the scriptures as an elder, or an overseer (Acts 20:28;     Ephesians 4:11;  I Timothy 3:1; Titus 1:5,7; I Peter 5:1-3)

In order to serve as a deacon a man must be spiritually mature and he must fulfill the qualifications set forth in I Timothy 3:8-13
